Webhook

Webhooks#

AuthVaultix Developer Dashboard me Webhooks aapko real-time HTTPS POST event notifications endpoints add aur manage karne ka control deta hai.

What are Webhooks?#

Each configured webhook endpoint receives a server-to-server HTTPS POST request for supported events. The client application does not need to be online to receive webhook deliveries.
Webhooks allow AuthVaultix to notify your system whenever an event occurs in your application (for example: user registration, license redemption, HWID mismatch, or payment events) by sending a real-time HTTPS POST request to your configured endpoint URL.
Common use cases:
Sending instant alerts to Discord or Telegram bots.
Updating external logging and security monitoring systems.
Automating payment and subscription activation workflows.

Adding a Webhook (createWebhookModal)#

To add a new webhook, click the Add Webhook button and provide the following parameters:

Event Delivery#

When a supported event is triggered, AuthVaultix sends an HTTPS POST request with a JSON payload to the configured webhook endpoint.
Webhook receivers should return an HTTP 200 OK to acknowledge successful delivery.

Webhook Operations#

Single Webhook Delete (delete_id): Delete an individual endpoint by clicking the delete button on its row.
Delete All Webhooks (delete_all=1): Use Delete All to clear all webhooks for the application in one action (confirmation required).
Toast Notifications: Instant success or error toast alerts are shown when adding or deleting webhooks.

Security Best Practices#

Use HTTPS endpoints only for webhooks.
Verify incoming webhook requests server-side.
Reject unknown IPs or invalid payloads.
Instead of doing long-running processing inside the webhook request, enqueue work to a background queue.

Configure multiple webhook endpoints to send parallel notifications to different services.
Enable proper logging on the webhook receiver to troubleshoot failed deliveries.
Verify webhook endpoints in a test environment before production deployment.
