The Global Variables page gives you full control over storing remote server-side key-value configuration data and delivering dynamic updates to client applications.
What are Global Variables?#
Global Variables are remote strings or JSON payloads stored on the AuthVaultix server. Client software retrieves these variables dynamically through the /api/1.0/var API endpoint.This feature allows developers to update application settings, API URLs, software version numbers, or dynamic feature flags without recompiling the binary.
Creating a Global Variable (createModal)#
To create a new global variable, click the New Variable button:| Parameter Field | Description | Example |

Access Permission Modes#
Authenticated Access = True: A valid logged-in session ID is required on the client to fetch the variable.
Authenticated Access = False: The variable is open for public access and can be fetched without a login session.
Variable Operations & Grouping#
Edit Variable: Update the key name, data value, authentication toggle, or expiry timestamp.
Delete Variable: Remove an individual variable entry.
Group Management: Organize variables into custom group tabs.
Bulk Operations: Move multiple selected variables from one group to another or delete them in bulk.
